Only 9,486 L78’s were ordered in 1969 and this car comes with the build sheets and documentation to prove what it is. The powerful 396 engine sends 375hp to the numbers matching THM400 3 speed transmission. The F41 heavy duty suspension lets the car float down the road. The car looks the way it should, it sounds the way it should and it even smells the way it should. The unrestored frame is in great shape and hides nothing. Shiny black paint matches the black interior. The original seats are still soft and in perfect shape. Behind the rosewood steering wheel you will find the original dashboard with a 5700 RPM tac that came with the L78 package. A new fuel tank was installed and the carb was rebuilt during a complete service that also included breaks and having all the fluids changed. Although the wheels have been changed, the original rally wheels come with the car. The block on the engine is a counter exchange but the rest of engine and car is original.
